Fundraising & Sponsorship Lead

Role Summary

The Fundraising & Sponsorship Lead is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial sustainability through donor engagement, sponsorship outreach, fundraising initiatives, and partnership development. This role helps build meaningful relationships with individuals, businesses, institutions, and community partners who align with the organization’s mission and values.

The individual in this role contributes directly to the organization’s growth and long-term impact by helping secure resources necessary to sustain programming and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing sponsorship and donor opportunities

  • Support planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives

  • Develop sponsorship outreach materials and partnership proposals

  • Maintain positive relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners

  • Assist with grant research and funding opportunity identification

  • Coordinate donor stewardship and appreciation initiatives

  • Track sponsorship commitments, fundraising progress, and partnership communications

  • Collaborate with communications and leadership teams to align fundraising messaging

  • Represent the organization professionally during networking and partnership meetings

  • Support development of sustainable funding strategies and community partnerships

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Confidence in networking and professional outreach

  • Organized and self-motivated

  • Experience in fundraising, sales, partnerships, business development, or community engagement considered an asset

  • Passion for mission-driven work and community impact
