Community Engagement Lead
Role Summary
The Community Engagement Lead is responsible for fostering meaningful relationships between the organization and the communities it serves. This role focuses on building trust, strengthening partnerships, increasing public engagement, and ensuring organizational initiatives remain community-informed and accessible.
The individual in this role serves as an ambassador for the organization by helping cultivate authentic, collaborative, and mission-aligned relationships with community members, organizations, institutions, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, and stakeholders

Support outreach initiatives that increase awareness and accessibility of organizational programs and services

Represent the organization at community meetings, networking opportunities, and outreach events

Identify opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and partnership development

Gather community feedback and help communicate community needs to organizational leadership

Support inclusive engagement strategies that reflect the diversity of the communities served

Collaborate with communications and program teams to strengthen public engagement efforts

Assist with volunteer and participant recruitment through community outreach

Promote positive organizational visibility and relationship-building within the community

Support development of long-term community engagement and partnership strategies
